SUSPECTED FEMALE KIDNAPPER LYNCHED IN ILORIN

Suspected kidnapper was on Monday lynched by angry mob in Ilorin Kwara state capital when she attempted to steal twins babies at a school.

The kidnapper got to the school and asked the geteman that the mother of the twins has her to bring the babies home.

She met her Waterloo when the school called the mother of the twins to confirm if she actually sent the woman to bring the children and she said nobody was sent by her.

The woman ran to the school premises and was crying.

The people in the area entered the school to pick up the alleged who has been held in the school premises.

Efforts by elderly persons to make sure that the suspect was not lynched were rebuffed by the irate youths who bent on lynching the woman.

The PPRO said, “Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Kwara State residents are advised to desist from jungle justice.”

He advised that crime suspects should be reported to the police for investigation and prosecution where appropriate.
