Easy Quick Acne Home Remedies

Here are 8 easy quick acne home remedies that work fast.

1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is an excellent remedy for acne due to its rich vitamin C content. It also contains citric acid which aids the elimination of the skin’s dead cells. Lemon juice helps the body tissues contract and dry off your acne. If you want a natural way to whiten your skin, try lemon juice. You can add rosewater to the lemon juice to reduce the drying effect.

Wash your face with warm water and use cotton balls to apply the lemon juice to the affected spots on your face. Use one cotton ball per spot to prevent the transfer of germs.

2. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera gel produces a nice soothing effect on your skin. Also, its antibacterial qualities reduce the redness and swelling on the acne spots. You can use aloe vera gel on its own or in combination with tea tree oil or garlic. Take one leaf, scoop out the gel and create a face mask. Leave it overnight and then wash it off the next morning. Aloe vera is an indoor plant that you should try to grow at home.

3. Tomatoes

Tomato helps you to remove excess oil from your face and keep your skin healthy. An antioxidant in tomato called lycopene will protect your skin and also act as an anti-aging agent. It prevents skin cells from getting damaged. The antimicrobial qualities of tomato will also help you to eliminate black heads, smoothen, and whiten you skin.

Simply create some fresh tomato juice by smashing together 2 or more large-sized tomatoes. Then put on a mask of this juice and leave it on for about 1 hour before you clean it off.

4. Papaya

Papaya gets rid of excess fat and dead cells from the surface of your skin. In its unripe form, papaya also contains papain. Papain is an enzyme that helps to stop the formation of pus on your skin. That is why papaya is now used in several beauty products.

To use papaya to remove your acne, cut it up, remove the seeds and mash its flesh until it is very smooth. Then use warm water to wash your face and then apply a mask of papaya to your entire face for about 30 minutes. Use warm water to rinse it off.

5. Neem

Neem powder and neem oil are very powerful natural treatments for acne. They possess potent antimicrobial properties. You can easily get neem products at your local organic food store.

Use warm water to rinse your face. With cotton buds, daub the neem oil directly to the acne spots. You may also mix the neem powder with a small quantity of water to produce a paste. Apply the paste directly to each spot. Leave the paste on overnight so that the neem can penetrate your skin and kill all the bacteria causing the acne.

6. Orange Juice and Peels

Oranges have vitamin C and ascorbic acid which are powerful weapons for fighting acne. To use orange peels and juice to eliminate acne, use warm water to wash your face. This will open up the pores. Peel your orange(s). Use the peels to rub the acne spots and then dab the spot with the orange juice. Make sure you wash your hands very well and use different orange peels for each of the spots. Doing this will prevent the spread of bacteria from one spot to another. After you dab the spot with juice, leave it on for about 1 hour before you clean it off.

7. Egg Whites

Egg whites offer you a quick and easy way to get rid of acne. They also help to remove scars. Why? They have vital amino acids and vitamins which eliminate pimples and re-build healthy skin cells.

Simply crack three large-sized eggs into a bowl and take out the yolks. Whisk the egg whites and let them settle for about 3 minutes. Then apply your egg whites to the acne spots with your fingers. Wait for the first application to dry then repeat it at least 4 times. After that leave this final mask on for about 30 minutes, then rinse it off, and apply a good skin moisturizer.
