A two-storey building under construction on Tuesday, April 30, collapsed in Ibadan, injuring eight persons .

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the building located on Eleyele road in Jericho area of Ibadan collapsed at about 4pm.

Speaking with NAN, one of the bricklayers at the site, Kazeem Adebayo, said concrete casting on a portion of the building had started when it gave way.
